Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN for Med Surg Tele on a PRN night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and support standards of practice and patient education.

RN will follow established nursing models, advocate for patients, and participate in organizational initiatives to improve outcomes and the patient experience. BLS and acute care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate’s Degree acceptable to start; Bachelor’s required within 24 months of hire.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the chart.
• Respond to patient requests and resolve them promptly to ensure comfort.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, and follow‑up.
