Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN for Med Surg Tele to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will follow established nursing models and advocate for patients and families to ensure an outstanding experience and positive outcomes.

The role emphasizes assessment, medication administration, documentation, and patient education, with opportunities to participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse license is required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide timely and empathetic patient care, addressing requests and needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
