Medical City Las Colinas is seeking an RN for Med Surg Tele as a PRN night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends in Plano, TX. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with providers, and use established nursing models to ensure outstanding outcomes.

As a registered nurse, you will advocate for patients and families, follow standards of practice, and participate in ongoing nursing initiatives within the hospital community.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate's Degree acceptable to start; Bachelor's Degree required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience in area/unit highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses, with documentation in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up, translating medical terminology.
