Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas seeks a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele on a PRN basis, night shift 7:00pm–7:00am with rotating weekends, delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with the team. You will assess patients on admission and each shift, document care, administer meds, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about plans of care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, TX RN license (or compact), current BLS, and 1 year acute care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Associates acceptable to start; Bachelors required within 24 months of hire.
• TX RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide timely, compassionate patient care and respond to requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, and medications.
