Job summary

Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning discharge, and mentoring staff. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred. 36-hour day shifts with weekend/holiday coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
• Experience level based on Level I–IV as described in the posting.
• Preferred: BSN to enhance qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the patient’s care, within scope of practice.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans and discharge planning.
• Mentors and precepts new staff; participates in professional development.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and departmental committees.
