Job summary

Tufts Medicine's Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Support professional to deliver quality patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff on the D3 Medical-Surgical Unit. This role assists with activities of daily living, prepares rooms, and maintains a safe, clean environment.

Hours are 24 hours per week, day/evening shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS; preferred candidates have

• Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Preferred: healthcare experience and nursing support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a nurse, performs ADLs and basic patient care.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and timely patient communication.
• Transports patients and supports meals and activities per protocol.
• Documents patient data accurately and participates in department duties.
