Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Support on the D3 Medical-Surgical Unit. The role focuses on professional and nonprofessional nursing care under physician orders and provides support with activities of daily living. Day/Eve shifts are 7a–7p, with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to a high‑quality patient care team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under nurse direction, perform activities of daily living for patients.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Prioritize care per nursing direction and discharge plan.
• Transport patients to procedures and discharge as directed.
• Assist with meals and feeding when necessary.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as glucometer use and specimen collection.
