Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General seeks an experienced RN to join the Med/Surg Float Pool on nights, 7:00pm–7:30am, in Akron. You will care for diverse adult and geriatric patients across units, delivering nursing care and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certs, and a BSN preferred. You will engage in ongoing education and uphold patient-centered, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification through AHA/Red Cross must be presented on hire or within first year.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients based on established standards.
• Care for med/surg patients on float pool units and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Complete med-surg competency and cover units as needed.
• Cooridinate with team and document care to ensure quality outcomes.
