Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an RN for the Floating Pool in Ohio. The role requires flexibility to float daily to various units, including Med/Surg or Intermediate Units, with an option for 6-week assignments. Shift is full-time nights, 7p–7:30a, with no weekends or holidays.

Candidates must hold an active RN license in Ohio, have a year of acute care experience, and be prepared to work across locations as needed. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS preferred depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio (or designated state) required.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred depending on specialty.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple units as needed within Mercy Health.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate nursing care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and patient safety.
• Document care according to policies and standards.
• Adapt to staffing needs and travel across sites as required.
