UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN, on-site role at UAB St Vincent's Birmingham. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and execute physician orders while supporting discharge planning with the care team.

The position requires an Alabama RN license (or eligibility), a nursing diploma, and BLS completion within 30 days of hire, with at least one year of RN experience preferred.

Formación

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
