Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 9A Medical-Surgical unit. You will perform comprehensive nursing care, assessments, and care coordination for medically complex patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation accuracy, and safety. BLS within 30 days and IL RN licensure are required; sign-on bonus applies to external applicants with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Illinois (IDFPR) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for external applicants with 3-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all unit-specific nursing duties per scope of service.
• Completes initial patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Maintains documentation per unit standards and ensures patient safety.
• Communicates with the care team to coordinate patient needs.
• Delegates tasks to HCTrs and verifies completion during shifts.
