Job summary

BOS Medical Staffing is seeking contracted RNs to work in a skilled Med Surg facility in Montgomery, Alabama. Open shifts include PRN options for day and night hours. RNs will utilize nursing processes to assess patient care quality and engage in discharge planning.

Preferred candidates will have at least one year of related experience, along with a current nursing license. Benefits include flexible schedules, weekly pay options, and comprehensive health insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid nursing license to practice.
• 1+ year experience in a clinical environment preferred.
• Familiarity with charting is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process for patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
• Perform focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs of physiologic and psychosocial change.
• Collect and analyze patient data.

Skills

Current, unencumbered nursing license

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
• Perform a focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’ s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.
