Job summary

BOS Medical Staffing is seeking contracted registered nurses to work in a Medical-Surgical setting. Shifts are available immediately, with PRN hours from 7A–7P and 7P–7A.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, patient assessment, and discharge planning in a fast-paced facility in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered nursing license.
• At least 1 year of work-related experience as nurse.
• Basic computer skills for charting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and document findings to develop a plan of care.
• Serve as clinical leader, orienting and teaching staff and coordinating patient conferences.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Perform focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Assess physiologic and psychosocial changes and document nursing diagnoses.
• Carry out other nursing duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conducts an assessment of patient’s condition (i.e., physical, emotional, age, etc.), documents assessment findings, and, in conjunction with medical notes, develops a plan of care.
• Serves as a clinical leader, implementing nursing concepts, conducting patient conferences, and assisting in directing, orienting, and teaching student nurses, Nursing Assistants, LPNs, and other ancillary personnel.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
• Perform a focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’ s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Other nursing duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills
