Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico is seeking a Part-time Inpatient Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for 0.60 FTE with 12-hour night shifts in Clovis.

You will coordinate and deliver direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe discharges, patient education, and adherence to clinical standards. We offer tuition reimbursement, a safety badge, loan forgiveness programs, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • ADN required; BSN preferred.
  • Current New Mexico RN license or compact state license.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred or required within unit timeframe.
  • Minimum inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize patient care, delegating assignments to support staff based on patient acuity and needs.
  • Maintain clinical competency and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and discharge planning.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support patients and families during hospitalization, treatment and recovery.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge care and disease management.
