Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a 24/7 environment, including ED and urgent care settings. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care using the nursing process while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires NM or compact-state licensure, ADN or higher, and BLS; ACLS & PALS are also required. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • Licensed RN in NM or compact-state
  • 1 year emergency department or 18 months ICU experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS required.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
  • Prioritize and coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient progress and educate patients and families.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with procedures.
  • Delegate and supervise care per scope of practice.
  • Mentor and role-model for staff and students.
