Complete Care is seeking an experienced MDS Director (RN) to oversee the MDS process at one of our skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey. The candidate will manage assessments, ensure CMS/regulatory compliance, and coordinate care planning with nursing leadership.

Ideal applicants will hold an active New Jersey RN license, have MDS 3.0 and PDPM knowledge, RAC-CT preferred, and proven leadership and communication skills to guide staff and optimize reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Prior MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility
• RAC-CT certification strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement
• Previous MDS leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with PointClickCare preferred

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate the MDS assessment process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and state and federal regulations.
• Manage care planning, documentation, and reimbursement accuracy.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support quality resident care.
• Monitor quality measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide guidance and education to staff regarding MDS processes and requirements.
