Preferred Care At Old Bridge is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator for a full-time role in New Jersey. The position focuses on managing the Resident Assessment Process through MDS and CAAs, coordinating care across disciplines to support accurate reimbursement and quality outcomes.
Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure and prior MDS/RAI experience. Knowledge of Medicare regulations for skilled nursing and strong leadership abilities are
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current/active nursing licensure.
- Prior MDS/RAI experience.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and coverage guidelines as related to skilled nursing.
- Management and leadership skills.
- Detail oriented & thorough.
Responsibilities
- Management and completion of the RAI process targeting reimbursement and quality.
- Coordinate and integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure substantiated reimbursement.
- Tracking of all Medicare/Managed Medicare/Commercial MDS and conduct weekly utilization reviews.
- Schedule and completion of the OBRA assessments.
