Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a MDS Coordinator - RN to ensure timely and accurate completion of the MDS assessment tool and review care plans for residents in a West Virginia nursing center.

The role requires an RN license and at least one year of long-term care nursing experience. The position is on-site in Hilltop, WV with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete MDS treatment assessment tool timely and accurately and review care plans for physical, cognitive, and social factors.
• Manage Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to maximize RUG categories.
• Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services for reimbursement.
