Job summary

The Wellstone Group is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator RN to promote residents' well-being using the RAI/MDS framework in a nursing home setting in Arkansas. You will formulate and monitor personalized care plans and ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards through regular oversight of MDS processes.

As the MDS Coordinator, you will lead administrative functions, coordinate with therapy and nursing staff, and participate in quality assurance activities to enhance resident

Qualifications

• RN, MDS experience required for coordinating resident assessments.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to interpret MDS guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day MDS office functions following regulations.
• Ensure MDS guidelines are reflected in procedures and care plans.
• Coordinate MDS services with resident services for continuity of care.
• Perform MDS assessments on admissions and significant changes.
• Contribute to QA/PI program and participate in surveys.
• Maintain Medicare binder and census; manage PPS scheduler.
