Job summary

Complete Care at Multi Medical Center in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator RN Registered Nurse to oversee MDS assessments, ensure accurate coding, and coordinate care-planning conferences. The role emphasizes timely documentation and state submission compliance in a compassionate long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active Maryland RN license, can work independently, and has strong knowledge of Case-Mix, Medicare PPS, and Medicaid reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Case-Mix, Medicare PPS and Medicaid reimbursement.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient in standard computer applications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide completion of resident assessments in a timely manner.
• Supervise inputting MDS assessments.
• Transmit MDS assessments to the state and obtain receipt of validation.
• Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences quarterly and annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Involvement and supervision of inputting MDS assessments.
• Transmit MDS assessments to the state and obtain receipt of validation.
• Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.

• Previous long term care experience is required

License

• Must have an active RN Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Maryland
