Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ASN required, BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
• Maternal/Newborn experience preferred.
• One year nursing experience required; maternity experience preferred.
• Experience in Women’s Health or postoperative care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides holistic, quality nursing care for patients and families on a unit or service.
• Applies the nursing process within the organization’s framework and acts as a clinically competent caregiver.
• Delivers delegated tasks and supervises support staff; reports to Unit Manager.
