Job summary

Astera Cancer Care is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager - Clinical Support for our Urology Practice with locations in Morristown, Wayne and Whippany. This leader will oversee daily clinical operations across 3+ sites, partnering with the front office manager to ensure a safe, efficient patient environment.

The role requires an RN license, 3–5 years in Urology, minimum 2 years supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree, BLS/CPR certification, and OncoEMR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of clinical staff across 3+ locations and coordinates with the front office manager.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with internal and external staff and patients.
• Assesses staffing needs and determines personnel required to provide safe, high-quality patient care.
• Reviews and trends metrics to assess team productivity and capacity; adjusts staffing accordingly.
• Develops and distributes staff schedules based on visit schedules (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Audits clinic workflows to ensure processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with IT to maintain intranet/SharePoint pages for the clinical team.
• Maintains competency and can perform clinical duties as needed across roles.
