Job summary

Astera Cancer Care in Morristown, NJ, seeks two Registered Nurses for our Urology practice locations. Work schedule is 35–40 hours per week. You will provide primary care, assess health status, document data, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires NJ RN licensure and CPR, with at least one year of nursing experience and knowledge of care guidelines and documentation. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current NJ RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of professional nursing experience.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, healthcare systems and policies.
• Familiarity with nursing care laws and charting requirements.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to patients, including assessment and care planning.
• Obtain consent, document health history and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Refer to physicians and other health providers when needed.
• Educate patients and families on health status and self-care.
