Job summary

Community Health of Central Washington is seeking an RN Manager, Clinical Programs and Practice to collaborate with the DCPI to oversee training and competency evaluations for nurses and medical assistants and to support value-based care initiatives across CHCW sites.

The role emphasizes establishing competencies, maintaining clinical nursing knowledge, coordinating employee health with HR, and managing the nursing/MA float pool, with potential direct patient care during pilots and workflow

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program required.
• MSN preferred.
• WA RN license required.
• BLS required.
• Experience as an RN in a clinical, ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Experience using EMR to support clinical workflows, documentation reporting, and quality improvement.
• Experience in nursing leadership, training, and/or education preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Fall Prevention Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical training and competency evaluations of nurses and medical assistants.
• Coordinate projects that align value-based care transitions with clinical workflow standardization and optimization.
• Serve as an organizational-wide nursing practice resource.
• Establish, train and evaluate role-based competencies, skills checklists and recertification plans.
• Maintains clinical nursing knowledge and competency and may provide direct patient care to support workflow testing and pilot new clinical initiatives.
• Coordinate designated employee health functions with HR.
• Oversee the nursing and medical assistant float pool.
