Saint Elizabeth Community in Rhode Island is seeking an experienced RN Director of Resident Care for Assisted Living to lead nursing services and safeguard high-quality resident care.

You will oversee care planning, staff scheduling and training, and ensure compliance with state regulations, while supporting compassionate leadership across multiple locations. This nonprofit provider offers growth and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• RN graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Hold an active Rhode Island RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hospital setting, Assisted Living, or skilled nursing facility.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and state regulations
• Assess changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate care
• Develop and update care plans; conduct care conferences with residents and families
• Ensure accurate documentation, medication management, and physician order follow-up
• Hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff
• Provide staff training, orientation, and ongoing education
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Manage nursing supplies and equipment to ensure proper availability and function
