Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital St. Louis South provides long-term acute care with 38 beds and 24/7 clinical coverage. This RN role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation using established nursing processes to support extended recovery and discharge planning.

The position requires strong collaboration with physicians and the nursing team, adherence to policies, and commitment to patient safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develops and coordinates patient care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicates changes in patient status with physicians and nursing leadership.
