Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 177-bed facility offering 24-hour clinical care seven days a week to support extended recovery. The RN position provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, developing care plans with patients and families, and communicating changes to physicians and staff.

Essential duties include planning, patient assessment, documentation, discharge planning, and ensuring safe medication administration.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (or compact licensure) required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification preferred upon hire.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing care standards and hospital policies.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care for patients.
• Delegates tasks based on patient needs and staff qualifications.
• Documents admissions, plans of care, and reassessments.
• Assists with discharge planning and interdepartmental coordination.
• Administers medications using the five rights of administration.
