Job summary

Kindred Hospital St. Louis South is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.

You will develop care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and communicate changes in condition to physicians and supervisors. Responsibilities include supervising care, administering medications safely, and participating in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing certificate, diploma, or program completion.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans with patient and family.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Supervise and delegate tasks within scope of practice.
• Provide end-of-shift handoff and documentation.
