Job summary

Belle Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN/LPN Unit Manager to oversee clinical leadership and administrative functions for a dedicated unit. You will ensure continuity of high-quality resident care, supervise a team, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary group to optimize care plans and outcomes.

The role requires a nursing degree, NJ RN license, leadership experience, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Leadership experience in a supervisory role (1 year minimum).
• Current licensure by the NJ State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• Membership in the Association of Professional Nurses is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Leads the assigned unit as manager, ensuring quality care.
• Maintains 24/7 nursing coverage with minimal overtime or agency use.
• Develops, implements and evaluates unit protocols and standards.
• Assesses staff performance relative to job descriptions and unit goals.
• Implements disciplinary actions per facility policies when needed.
• Encourages staff to perform to their potential and provides supervision.
