Job summary

Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a compassionate LPN or RN to join our health care team and deliver exceptional care to older adults. You will support resident medical care, promote independence, and build meaningful relationships with residents and staff.

The role involves direct medication administration, ongoing documentation, and collaboration with the RAs and Medical Unit Secretaries to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN) with current state licensure.
• Ability to administer medications and document care accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supports care for residents, coaching staff to ensure quality work.
• Verifies resident identities, administers medications, observes and records MAR.
• Maintains up-to-date medical records and documents reasons for omitted medications.
• Assists with resident assessments, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Communicates resident condition information to the team and ensures safe drug handling.
