Responsibilities

• Assists the nursing staff in providing care to geriatric residents.
• Assists residents with grooming, dressing and personal care.
• Assists residents with toilet use and positioning.
• Transports residents to meals, activities and other areas.
• Responds promptly to resident call bells and emergencies.
• Records vital signs and monitors patient conditions as directed.
• Assists with dining and social activities.
• Maintains residents' environment and equipment as needed.
