Job summary

Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift (7p–7a) in Winston-Salem, NC 27104. Education: LPN, with NC license or RN permitted.

The role includes medication administration, patient assessments, and collaboration with CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include documenting MAR entries, maintaining records, admissions/discharges handling, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN or RN license in North Carolina.
• Understand, speak and write English; basic math calculations (pill counts).
• Knowledge of LPN/LPN scope of practice and patient care teamwork.
• Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote team effectiveness and ensure resident care of the highest quality.
• Assist CNAs to deliver care; verify resident identities and administer medications.
• Document drug effectiveness and maintain up‑to‑date medical records.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
