Arbor Springs, a 56-bed Senior Living Community in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care in a safe environment. Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Registered Nurse
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience in a supervisory capacity desirable
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws
• Knowledge of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care desirable
• Positive attitude toward the elderly

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local standards and guidelines governing the facility
• Assist Administration and Director of Nursing Services to maintain the highest quality of care
