Job summary

Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ferguson, MO seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care and administer medications within a collaborative team. You will initiate and lead individualized care plans and document resident conditions accurately.

The role is full-time with benefits, including a $10,000 sign-on for qualified candidates, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, take-home pay options,

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Effective communication with residents and families.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing care.
• Exceed company and regulatory standards in care delivery.

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assess and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing
• Valid RN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
