Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, and administer medications following prescribed plans.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care, communicate with physicians and families, and ensure compliance with regulations to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN or LPN license required.
• Prior LTC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, and coordinate with physicians and families.
