Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Health Center, including wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration. You will perform admissions assessments and enter data into PCC, coordinating with physicians and families to optimize resident care.

The role requires an Iowa RN license; LTC experience is preferred but not required. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Duties: Registered Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Conduct admission assessments into the Health Center and enter into Point Click Care (PCC).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:
