Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care on the day shift. You will perform wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management while developing individualized care plans and administering medications with careful documentation.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license.
• Previous LTC or RCF experience is preferred but not required.
• Day Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm FT.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans; administer medications with accurate documentation and monitoring.

Job Duties: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:
