Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA seeks a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time, on-site care in the Enhanced Living unit. Roles include direct nursing care, medication administration, and care plan development.

Admit assessments (RNs only) and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are required. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and shift differentials apply; on-site shifts 7:00a-3:30p, 6:30a-3:00p, or 8:00a-4:30p.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required in Iowa.
• LTC or AL experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wounds, IV therapy, catheter management and care plan development.
• Administer medications and treatments with proper documentation and monitor for adverse effects.
• Coordinate with physicians and families to optimize resident care.
• Conduct admission assessments into the Enhanced Living unit and document in PCC (RNs only).

Job Duties: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Conduct admission assessments into the Enhanced Living unit and enter into Point Click Care (PCC) *RNs only.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license
• Previous LTC or AL experience is preferred but not required
