Job summary

WesleyLife's Edgewater Health Center in West Des Moines seeks an experienced LPN for overnight shifts. You will deliver direct nursing care, conduct assessments, administer medications, and support wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.

Work with an interdisciplinary team, participate in admissions, ensure compliance, and help maintain a home-like community. This full-time overnight role offers competitive pay with shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Iowa LPN license is required.
• LTC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with accurate documentation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate with physicians and families.
• Conduct admissions into Edgewater's Health Center.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and infection control protocols.

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Conduct admissions into Edgewater's Health Center.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.
• Overnight (6:00p-6:00a) FT

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa LPN license
• PreviousLTC experience is preferred but notrequired
