Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Licensure: Active RN or LPN license in Iowa; CPR/First Aid certification preferred or to be obtained on hire.
• Experience: Prior nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residents' health, implement care plans, and provide nursing care.
• Supervise nursing staff and train CNAs to maintain care standards.
• Assess residents, monitor conditions, document changes, and communicate with physicians.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, IV therapy, and routine procedures.
