Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an RN/LPN for our After-hours department serving the Greensboro area. This is a part-time position working every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 7:30pm.

CPR certification is required, and NC licensure must be active and in good standing. Responsibilities include assessing patient/caregiver needs, setting care goals, implementing interventions, documenting outcomes, and coordinating with physicians for the medical plan of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must be currently licensed as an RN/LPN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
• One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting plus.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required; must carry automobile liability insurance at agency-required limits; must have own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish nursing patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions for all agency programs.
• Document outcomes of care and work with physician to implement the medical plan of care for the patient.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and with patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and community organizations; provide emotional support and teaching.

Job Summary:

Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary group and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with group members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient/caregiver to include providing emotional support and teaching.
