Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an RN Admissions to join our hospice team in Greensboro and Burlington service areas. This full-time position covers Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00am to 9:00pm, focusing on patient-centered hospice care.

The RN Admissions will assess, plan, implement, document, and coordinate care for adult and geriatric patients with emphasis on dignity and inclusion. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS).
• Licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standing with NCBON.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Explain hospice services to patients and families and assist with consent documents.
• Coordinate, collaborate and develop plan of care with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement, document, and coordinate care for adult and geriatric patients, including terminally ill patients and their families.

AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN Admissions. This position is Full-time Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8:00am - 9:00pm supporting our Greensboro and Burlington service areas. Job Summary

Assesses, plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes, teaches, delegates, supervises, and coordinates the care of adult and geriatric patients; (initial assessment, planning, coordination, evaluation, and teaching) which provides care and support to terminally ill patients and their families; and perform other nursing duties as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
• One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing a plus.
• Two years of experience a plus.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
