Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an LPN Home Care for our Burlington service area. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, providing high-quality nursing services under RN supervision.

The role involves documenting care, administering medications as directed, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family goals. Weekend and weeknight coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Must have a current North Carolina LPN license.
• One year's LPN experience necessary, preferably two years in an acute care, hospice, LTC or home health setting.
• Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Provides compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy.
• Provides treatments, documents care, administers medications as directed.
• Works with other members of the interdisciplinary group to meet patient/family goals.
• Participates in providing weekend and weeknight coverage to assure patient care.
