Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective in Greensboro seeks a licensed RN for our after-hours department, working every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm. This part-time role focuses on patient assessment, goal setting, and care coordination.

You will document outcomes, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and provide emotional support and teaching to patients and caregivers while maintaining strong communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standing with NCBON.
• One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish nursing care goals and interventions.
• Document outcomes of care and work with physician to implement medical plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers and health professionals.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships, providing emotional support and teaching.

Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary group and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with group members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient/caregiver to include providing emotional support and teaching.

Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
