Job summary

The Vistas at Bettendorf in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a part-time RN or LPN for the 6pm–10pm shift at our skilled nursing facility. You will provide leadership to nursing personnel, maintain established objectives, and communicate with families about resident progress.

Responsibilities include evaluating resident needs, developing care plans, coordinating services, and handing reports to the Charge Nurse at shift change. CPR certification in Iowa is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the State of Iowa
• CPR certification
• Part-time availability for 6pm-10pm shift

• Professional communication with family members regarding the condition and progress of the resident, including in-person discussion and answering of telephone inquiries
• Evaluation of resident needs, conditions, and care, and assist in developing nursing care plans for individual residents, including rehabilitative and restorative activities and instruction in self-help
• Receive/give the nursing report to/from your Charge Nurse colleague upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours
