Job summary

The Vistas at Bettendorf in Bettendorf, IA seeks a licensed RN for part-time or full-time night shifts (6p-6a) to lead nursing staff and deliver compassionate elder care. You will implement nursing standards, coordinate with physicians for diagnostic and therapeutic services, and develop individualized care plans including rehabilitative activities.

Strong communication with residents’ families is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Active RN licensed in the State of Iowa who are caring, compassionate, professionals with a passion for taking care of the elderly to become a part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift
• Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards
• Professional communication with family members regarding the condition and progress of the resident, including in-person discussion and answering of telephone inquiries
• Evaluation of resident needs, conditions, and care, and assist in developing nursing care plans for individual residents, including rehabilitative and restorative activities and instruction in self-help
• Receive/give the nursing report to/from your Charge Nurse colleague upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours
• Request and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services for residents, as ordered by the physician and in accordance with our established procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current RN License in the State of Iowa
• CPR certification
