Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. The RN will provide individualized nursing care, collaborate with residents and families, and coordinate assessments and care plans.

Physicians and an interdisciplinary team guide the clinical steps and expectations for quality outcomes. The position requires an accredited nursing program and an active RN license; a Bachelor's in nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
