Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves coordinating total nursing care, complying with Michigan and federal regulations, supervising staff, and delivering daily reports to leadership.

The RN will conduct assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and participate in quality improvement activities while maintaining resident rights and safety.

Qualifications

Current Michigan RN license required.
CPR certification required.
Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.
Knowledge of federal and state nursing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assess resident conditions and develop care plans.
Perform rounds with physicians; monitor symptoms and treatment effects.
Administer medications as prescribed; report contraindications.
Coordinate with DON and Unit Managers; ensure regulatory compliance.
Supervise CNAs and assist with resident care activities.
Complete and report on resident injury and discharge summaries.
Participate in regulatory surveys and plan of correction responses.
