Job summary

Osceola Regional Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for long-term care in Sibley, IA. The nurse will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, licensure, and the nursing process.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Iowa RN license, CPR certification within 3 months of hire, and completion of mandatory abuse reporting training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for registered nursing.
• A minimum of one year of nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately documents and actualizes the nursing process to provide resident care.
• Assists in developing the resident nursing plan of care.
• Implements nursing strategies and interventions to attain resident outcomes.
• Supervises care provided by unlicensed personnel and LPNs.
• Acts as charge nurse/preceptor and coordinates with the care team.
