Job summary

The Registered Nurse-LTC in Sibley, IA provides direct, professional nursing care to LTC residents using the nursing process, following standards, policies, and licensure requirements. This is a full-time position with a regular work shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for registered nursing.
• Minimum of one year nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Accurately documents and applies the nursing process to provide resident care.
• Performs initial and follow-up assessments and develops care plans.
• Implements nursing interventions to meet resident outcomes.
• Supervises care by unlicensed personnel and LPNs.
• Coordinates services across the continuum of care and educates residents/families.
